The Challenge
The clinic network was overwhelmed by manual phone bookings, high no-show rates, and fragmented patient records. They required an automated scheduling engine that could sync with their legacy EMR system while offering patients a modern interface for booking in-person and telehealth sessions.
Product Strategy
Build a HIPAA-compliant scheduling layer that acts as a secure middleware between patients and the legacy EMR.
We designed a unified appointment system featuring real-time calendar syncing and automated SMS reminders to drastically reduce no-shows. For telehealth, we integrated an encrypted WebRTC video consultation module directly into the patient portal, ensuring HIPAA-compliant communications without requiring third-party apps.
